Why you should choose DAK Construction
Just about any carpenter can put together a deck. The key however is whether the deck blends in and enhances the function and appearance of your home. Secondly, and just as important, is the quality of materials and knowledge of the individuals building the deck. In order for your new deck to provide years of trouble free service, the structure must be engineered properly and built with high grade materials. You can be confident that decks built by DAK Construction will meet these high expectations. With a great many years of experience and satisfied customers DAK Construction can assure you that you will be dealing with the best.
Dak Construction builds outdoor living spaces that are built to last
With his many years in the business and his commitment to improving his skills and techniques, Dennis Kidd, owner of DAK Consruction, has determined that the key element often overlooked in construction is fasteners. According to Dennis, “No matter what type of lumber or composite material you use, the backbone to any structure is the fasteners which hold it together. They may say zinc-plated, galvanized, or deck screws, but this does not mean that they will not rust or corrode. Experience has taught me which are most reliable.”
DAK Construction recommends a maize, double dipped, galvanized ring shank nail as the standard fastener. For the ultimate in fasteners, Dennis recommends a heavy gauge square drive stainless steel screw.
