OWNER

DAK (Dennis) started Decks by DAK 40 years ago and has always focused on his customers. Hilda has been steering the ship and keeping the business growing.

TIM KIDD

Operations Manager

Tim Kidd has been helping with the family business since he was 14 years old. He credits acquiring the necessary skills to manage the business from Virginia Tech's Corps of Cadets which he earned a full ride scholarship for. He graduated with a Minor in Leadership and a Bachelors in Business Management

DAN KIDD

Sales Manager

Dan is also a graduate of Fluvanna and the Corps of Cadets. After serving in the military as a platoon leader in the 82nd, he started a career in real estate in Fayetteville. He worked summers in DAK all through high school and college and joined the company FT in  2021.

David Kidd

Project Manager

David graduated from Virginia Tech in 2013 with a Bachelor’s of Arts and served in the Virginia Army National Guard for over 9 years as an Ordnance Officer, finishing his service as a Captain. 

He has been working full time in his family’s business since 2019 and has been a lead Project Manager for going on 3 years. He takes great pride in prioritizing customer service and an attentiveness to ensure quality craftsmanship with each of his crew’s builds.

David is a Fluvanna local, has been married to the love of his life for 10 years, and has a growing family of 4 children.

Kaitlyn Lively

Office Manager

Kaitlyn is an amazing mother, college student, dog lover, traveler, taco-fiend, and really good at keeping systems and the office in order. She has dreams of traveling across the country and one day owning her own trucking company. Until then, she's great at keeping DAK Construction organized and growing.

Bryan Harrington

Project Manager

Bryan is a devoted husband and father of two daughters, with 16 years of experience in retail management, specializing in home improvement and building materials. Fun fact: Bryan’s journey with DAK started back in 2005 as a helper! When he's not managing projects, you’ll find him exploring new cities or enjoying family adventures, from Disney parks to hidden gems. We’re excited to have him back at DAK, leading the way!

Gabe Andersen

Marketing Director

Gabe is loving working with the premiere deck builder in the area. When he's not living the DAK dream he's playing with his 4 kids. They enjoy biking, hiking, skiing, volleyball, church and finding service projects.
